Return visit to Alfie's upon returning to Florida from NH, and this place is still as good as ever. My go-to dish here is the broiled haddock, flaky moist and delicious. My companion had the Chicken Marsala, also delicious. Early Bird specials make this a great value. Add the warm and cozy atmosphere that Alfie's is known for and it's a winning combination. Great low-key service further enhances the experience. It's a neighborhood gem.

Amazing restaurant!!! I was just here for vacation and had the best time. First we had breakfast here. They had amazing French toast and hash browns. Along with that, the service was amazing. Later that night we found they had deep fried ice cream. So, we decided to go back for desert. Let me say, best desert ever!!! It was huge, don't order one for every person. 1 feeds 2 people lol!! It was so delicious though. Totally recommend!!!

***UPDATE*** I DID have an update on ALFIE'S, but, it doesn't show up and I cannot remove the 2020 review SOOO With said: We have been regular customers of ALFIE'S. The QUANTITY of food phenomenal, The PRICES are great and their TASTES, are amazing!!! The DESSERTS are YES, to die for. Can you say hu-menormous? Yep, that big even though I cannot say or spell it. Wait until you see the pictures. ALFIE'S is a great place for tourists because, all of the locals are here every week, twice a month (us) or everyday. NOW, you DO know that you have to wait for your turn to get into a popular restaurant right? Same here, BUT, it certainly IS worth the wait. First, it's very hard to get anyone wanting to work these days, same here ONLY no one ever wants to LEAVE! I'm talking about ridiculous OVERSTAYING. THIS and the shortage of (wonderful, well trained) waitstaff are the main reason why you have to wait, but you will see US waiting also *The wait isn't as long as the larger restaurants, they don't have the fancy, schmancie, ta da do's, ta da's, because ALFIE'S is the small quaint, gathering of family, friends, lover's, even acquaintances enjoying themselves and others at the beach in OBS (Ormond by the Sea) by the way, OBS is only 6 miles long (2 miles of state park that is un-buildable) Which means you're not going to be in a large area where you cannot find a parking spot, where you can walk to right off the beach (Proper attire needed, covered up at least) ALFIE'S has PLENTY of parking so you don't have to worry about overcrowded, no place to park worries. ALFIE'S has been here since 1969 and is here to stay. Wait until you see the "old" pictures from start until now. ALFIE'S is a beach style restaurant. They have the whole beach thing going on. OMG, (hand smacks head, duh) FORGOT to take a picture of ALFIE the alligator!!! (I will get that to you asap) He is 10-13 feet long. Sooo, how does one forget that??? He's really cool. HE greets you at the door. Did I mention their rewards program? NO, I did not because it just recently changed and we just used it yesterday. You acquire points when you present your FREE card, (just sign up, no obligations, no sales pitch) and you get the points by the number of dollars you spend. When you get to however many points, (Husband has card so, I forgot to ask) (Do you WANT me to smack my head again?) You get a coupon to bring in to get that amount off your bill. YES, yes, I have pictures. I'm not smacking this head again Oh, I forgot, they do have a small bar to the right when you first walk in and a small amount of tables there too. They are involved with the Lions club, they have used books, you bring, you take for a donation. You put the donation into ALFIE the alligators open mouth. True story, we put in a dollar in his mouth and he spit back at us $.10 BLAAH, YES, we put in back into his mouth. Ok, Leave feed back on how you loved the restaurant.

Recommend. Good atmosphere and clean restaurant. The food was very good. We ordered shrimp and clams, and it came with excellent claim chowder with no up charge. My wife had jumbo shrimp, and they were also very good. Our waitress was Tiffany, and she was excellent and very helpful and courteous.

We go to Alfie's a couple times a week. The fried haddock dinner is great. Homemade tartar sauce is top notch. Nothing fancy just a good meal.

What a great place to go, especially for the early bird specials. Are you on my wife and I both had crab stuffed cod, which was incredible. My son had the kids chicken fingers. The restaurant is clean and we were served promptly. Despite being understaffed, they did a phenomenal job.
